Our Promise

At DesiPopd, we stand behind every product we ship. If you're not happy — for any reason — we want to hear from you and we will make it right. We process all return and refund requests within 2 business days of receiving your complaint.

When Can You Return?

You can raise a return or refund request within 7 days of delivery in the following cases:

• ✓ Damaged or broken product — pouch torn, product crushed during shipping
• ✓ Wrong product delivered — received a different flavour or variant than ordered
• ✓ Expired product — best-before date already passed at time of delivery
• ✓ Missing items — ordered multiple products but received fewer
• ✓ Quality issue — product is stale, smells off, or significantly different from expected

What Happens After You Report?

• Step 1: WhatsApp or email us with your order ID and a photo of the issue
• Step 2: Our team reviews within 24 hours and confirms your eligibility
• Step 3: You choose — full refund to original payment method, or free replacement shipment
• Step 4: Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days. Replacements ship within 24 hours.

Refund Methods

• Online payments (Razorpay/UPI/Card): Refunded to your original payment method within 5–7 business days
• Cash on Delivery orders: Refunded via UPI/bank transfer within 3–5 business days (we'll ask for your UPI ID)
• WhatsApp orders: Resolved case by case — contact us directly

What Is NOT Eligible for Return?

• ✗ Product opened and partially consumed (unless there's a quality defect)
• ✗ Return requested after 7 days of delivery
• ✗ Dislike of taste or flavour — we encourage trying a small pack first if you're unsure
• ✗ Incorrect address provided by customer leading to delivery failure
• ✗ Products purchased during a sale or special promotion (unless damaged/wrong)

How to Raise a Return Request

The fastest way is to WhatsApp us directly at +91 8521696528 with:

• Your Order ID (found in your confirmation email)
• A photo or short video of the issue
• Your preference — refund or replacement

Alternatively, email us at orders@desipopd.com with the same details.

Cancellation Policy

Orders can be cancelled before dispatch only (within 2–4 hours of placing the order). Once dispatched, we cannot cancel but you can still raise a return request after delivery.

To cancel, WhatsApp us immediately at +91 8521696528 with your Order ID.

Shipping Charges on Returns

If the return is due to our error (wrong product, damaged, expired) — we bear all return shipping costs and arrange pickup where possible.

For other reasons, return shipping charges (if any) are borne by the customer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I ordered 3 packs but only received 2. What do I do?
WhatsApp us with your order ID and a photo of what you received. We'll ship the missing item within 24 hours at no charge.

Q: My makhana arrived stale. Can I get a refund?
Absolutely. DesiPopd products have a 60-day shelf life from roasting. If your product arrived stale or off, send us a photo and we'll issue a full refund or replacement immediately.

Q: I don't like the taste. Can I return it?
We're sorry it didn't hit the spot! Unfortunately we cannot accept returns for taste preferences. We recommend starting with our smallest pack size to find your favourite flavour first.

Q: How long does the refund take?
Online payment refunds take 5–7 business days to reflect in your account. COD refunds via UPI take 3–5 business days.
